Meet Tracy Bounsing, APRN, FNP-BC
I’m Tracy Bounsing, APRN, FNP-BC, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, and aesthetic medicine. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of caring for surgical patients before, during, and after their procedures, helping them navigate every stage of the healing process with confidence and compassion
One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been educating patients—ensuring they understand what to expect before surgery, how to prepare for recovery, and how to recognize normal healing versus signs that require medical attention. I believe that informed patients recover with greater confidence and peace of mind.
My approach has always been built on patient education, integrity, and safety. I take the time to listen, answer questions, and provide individualized care because no two recoveries are the same. My goal is for every patient to feel supported, comfortable, and never alone during one of the most vulnerable times in their healing journey.
I founded Ascent Aesthetics & Recovery because I recognized a gap in post-operative care. Many patients leave surgery with detailed instructions but little hands-on support once they return home. Ascent was created to bridge that gap by providing professional concierge nursing care that prioritizes safety, comfort, and personalized recovery in the privacy of your home or recovery location.
